Some doors don’t open as easy as others. Heavy doors require a little extra ‘oomph’ to get them open. Of course it’s nice to warn folks that they’ll need a little more pulling power on these doors. Our ‘Heavy Door Please Pull Hard’ sign does just that. The first door that comes to mind would be on a walk-in cooler. Some old tall wooden doors might also need a little extra to open. Choose from cast aluminum or cast bronze. For indoor or outdoor use.
BRONZE: Cast in solid lead-free bronze. Raised tactile lettering. Classic black background. Brushed satin finish on raised lettering. Clear powder coating to keep your sign looking good for years to come. Slotted oval head bronze wood screws included.
ALUMINUM: Cast in aluminum with raised tactile lettering. Then, a black powder coat background is sprayed and baked on. Finally, a clear powder coat finish is baked on for years of beautiful service. Slotted oval head wood screws included.
Both signs are countersunk pre-drilled and ready for mounting.
Dimensions: 10″ wide x 3-1/4″ tall x 3/16″ thick. Due to the natural sand casting process, there may be slight dimensional variances.

Our cast metal signs and accessories are made in the USA in a small village foundry. Using the old world method, the pattern is pressed into sand to create the mold. Bronze or aluminum ingots are heated to over 1500 degrees. Sparks and molten metal are seen flying as impurities are skimmed off and the hot liquid is poured into the molds. In the cleanup and finishing process, each sign is handled multiple times by foundry artisans ensuring a final product that you will be proud to own and display on YOUR heavy doors.
